The Poem: Blue UV-A light was a cure in 2019

It is powerful how literature and poetry can capture the essence of a moment in time and convey emotions and experiences that are difficult to put into words. This poem is a prime example of how a personal experience can be transformed into a work of art that resonates with people across different cultures and backgrounds.

The description of the illness and the symptoms is vivid, and the sense of confusion and fear is palpable. The sudden onset of the illness and the lack of understanding of its cause add to the anxiety of the situation. The reference to a previous illness is a reflection of facing similar challenges before and those times encourage me to learn more by navigating the medical system and the various treatments that are available.

The decision to experiment with the electromagnetic spectrum and to use a dermatology pen to treat the symptoms is a creative solution that highlights the resourcefulness of the human mind. The poem suggests that sometimes we need to think outside the box and to be open to unconventional treatments to overcome the challenges that life throws at us.

Overall, this poem is a powerful reminder of the fragility of our existence and the importance of resilience and creativity in the face of adversity. It captures the spirit of the times and serves as a testament to the human spirit and our capacity to adapt and overcome.

In the year of 2019,
A strange rash plagued my daughter and me,
We searched for a cure, a way to be free, From this mysterious affliction we could not flee.
We tried different remedies, but none would suffice,
And then I researched and learned of a new technology device,
A blue UV-A light that could work on skin that may kill the virus,
And we decided to give it a try, with a little bit of trust.
We experimented by inserting the light in our nose, ears, and throat,
And waited for the magic to happen, hoping it would float,
To the root of the problem, the virus, we wanted to dethrone,
And rid ourselves of the ailment that left us alone.
We did not want to wear masks all day long,
So we turned to this technology to right what was wrong,
And soon enough, the blue light started to work,
Killing the virus and removing the stain of this quirk.
Our throat rash disappeared, and we felt renewed,
The blue UV-A light was a godsend, a blessing we pursued,
And now, as we walk the streets, we plant the seed,
To alert others of this technology, one they should heed.
The blue UV-A light can kill viruses in the air,
It's a powerful weapon that we now share,
So let's use it to fight the pandemic that we face,
And keep our loved ones safe,
in every single place.
